TSX side mirrors

so I am a big fan of the TSX side mirrors that have the integrated blinkers and I start thinking...how about get those on the TL?? I was wondering if anyone else had thought about this. If so, and idea about how close the mirrors are in size (especially where they connect to the car).

Any thoughts?

I would assume you would have to purchase and entire new aftermarket assembly. Lot of $ just for added blinkers.

well i have another question....... if the TSX mirrors somehow fit on our TL.... are they still going to be heated mirrors and will they still move down when that little switch is position on L or R ?

I've been thinking the same thing for a long time. I too really love the blinkers under the side-view mirrors of the TSX. I wonder why they didnt do this on the TL. That would be great if we could just swap them out with the TSX, but I'm sure they're totally different sizes. Anybody have an answer to VTEC's questions?

The heaters can go, but the reversing mirrors are key. Do the TSX mirrors already do that...if so, it shuol dbe easy to hook up the existing wiring.

Well...there goes my bright idea then....unless the housing is the same size and I can retain the TL internals while addiding the TSX shell

dude i think you should just wait..i'm sure some aftermarket company will come out with signal side mirrors that will be made for the TL...heck with my F-150 before, streetscene(i think) came out with these stealthy looking side mirrors(i dunno why people would put such small mirrors on such a BIG truck)...so vtec....as they say..PATIENCE is a VIRTUE...

wire the signal wires from the front fender signals (do those blink? i think they do) or headlight corners to the mirrors once u get mirrors with lights that can signal.

Anyone listen to From Autumn to Ashes?

if you think about it the move down on reverse has nothing to do with the mirror. as long as the tsx has power mirrors. i think its easier to rewire the the side marker.
