TSX to S2k now possibly TL?

I might be trading in my 06 S2k on an 06 TL PWP. Need some opinions on the TL. I’ve been looking for a PWP TL for awhile now. The S is getting a bit cramped, don’t get me wrong, it’s an awesome car in everyway but I’m getting older where I’m looking for more creature comforts than how fast can I go through this curve and I have two kids, one of which is a baby. Anyways, nuff about me rambling. I haven’t even driven a TL, just wanted some opinions on the 06 model.

Thanks

good year for the TL. last year of the 6MT outside of getting a type-s in model year 07/08. TPMS was included in 06. look at the differences between the 06 & 07/08 because the 07 was the MMC and there were a lot of little changes e.g. navi models came with a backup camera.

Welcome to AZ Just so you know PWP is for the TSX and WDP (White Diamond Pearl) is for the TL. Good luck with your deal

Well, since only Mods are posting, I'll join in! You'll really enjoy this ride. Once you drive it, it'll be all over!

If I post does that mean I can become a mod?

The TL is a great car. If I were you I would look at an 07 TL-S instead of the 06 base TL. You'll wish you had after you make the purchase.

i would suggest giving a typeS a drive to...if want that little extra hp. Theres quite a few mods you can do which will help the tl out a lot. upgrading the RSB is one of them.

I drive my pop's s2k and I love it A LOT. Either way you have an AMAZING car to drive in. Best of luck on your decision. I would have to stick with the s2k though.. The most powerful 2l normally aspirated engine in the world is on your side.

Sorry it took me so long to respond, have been on the car hunt! No TL-S within 200 miles of me
258hp is plenty for me, in my red light to red light commute to work.

I did find this 08 Base, I dont need Nav although it would be some nice eye candy. Black on Black is my fav...What do you all think?

46k miles $23,600

Price is def high, considering I can get an 08 Nav for the same price with lower miles (but it's silver/grey leather - hate hate hate grey leather. Been on the lot for 30+ days. I'm hoping to get them down to $21k out the door, maybe some oil changes thrown in too.
