are the technical service bulletin done for free by the dealerships or do we have to pay them? and could it be brought to like a Honda dealership even though it's an Acura?

 

If it's under warranty, then yes. If it's not under warranty, then no.

A TSB isn't a recall, it's simply a bulletin to address a specific issue.

You can always ask the dealer to perform a good will repair out of warranty for the TSB but they are not obligated to.

Good Will basically means that Honda covered the cost of the repair even though you are out of warranty and they felt that you deserved the repair for free or reduced cost. For example some people including myself have had a new dashboard good-willed after it started cracking! Honda is pretty good about good-willing stuff and taking care of their customers!

 

haha cool. do i just ask the service department or something for a good will repair?
