I know I bought the last one at my dealership in November of 06, but a dealer should be able to find you a car if they want your business. That's THEIR job! Make 'em earn your business! Trust me, if it's out there and you have financing...they will find it!!

 

I agree 100%. Suggest you get the deal done first then tell them what color you have to have. Secure a financing commitment first. Set the price before you tell them it has to be that combo. They can order it if necessary. Should not take any more than 6-9 weeks for it to comes in. If necessary, give them a small deposit like $500. Make sure that it will be refunded after x weeks if they can't produce the car (in writing). Good luck and keep us posted. YMMV

Do you want a new or used car? All or almost all dealers' websites show their inventory along with color combo/equipment. All you need to do is to search the dealers near where you live and spend time reading their inventory. Or, just as someone has suggested, all dealers should be able to get you your favorite color combo/equipment if you buy a new car and the price is reasonable. Good luck.

Check out Ebay. There are a few dealers on there who sell good used cars. I think there is even a Honda Dealer who has a few Factory TL's for sale from time to time on there.

 

This is actually not a bad move Sqweak. Before this car, I bought 3 cars off of Ebay. All were swell transactions. I sold the 93 Dodge Stealth, sold the 03 TL Type S last year, and I still have the 92 Legend. Heyyyy...wanna buy it? (j/k) Believe it or not, my mom loves to drive that car.

Check the ebay out...but big time caveat emptor!! (think I spelled that right)

good luck with your search. i flew from florida to texas to pick up mine this weekend. i couldn't find any close to me that met my standards (black on black navi 6 speed). it was well worth the plane ticket and 20 hour drive home.
