I need to replace the tensions rods for my 08 TL Type S. These are 9 and 10 in the picture below. It seems like these can be removed and installed with vice grip. Has anyone done so successfully? I believe these is also a spring tool to help with the installation. Does anyone have the part number for 08 TL Type S?

 

I understand in other post that the tool part number should be 07AAF-SNAA100.I believe it works for the TL base but is it the same for the TL type S?
