Trunk release button supposed to light up?

Is the trunk release button under the dash supposed to light up?

I thought I saw it lit once and now it doesn't. Was I dreaming? or did the light burn out?

Mine blew a few months back...along with 6 other bulbs! The dealer will take care of it. These bulbs seem to be pretty short lived considering that the bulb only lights up with the headlights on.

My drivers side seat heater illuminiation button died......dealer replaced it, but they didnt do the best job putting the lower portion of the console together.

Great, Thanks. I'll be glad to tell the service manager that it does light up b/c he thought it didn't.
