Hey guys. I want a trunk lid for my TL, but its around 500$ at the dealer for it. But ive seen ones on ebay for 30-40$. just wondering if those are good or not. If anyone has bought one let me kno how it worked out.

If you want the Type-S one, then its crazy money. But if you prefer the look of the stock lip, then people usually get the ebay one since it looks identical to OEM.

 

ah ok thanks. But im trying to compare the difference between the type-s and Stock but cant seem to tell differnce maybe if i looked at them in person.
Whats the difference?

 

you couldnt tell the difference because they both look like.
I assume the difference between the two would be its weight.

 

the type-s deck lid spoiler has some subtle differences to the base spoiler.
I THINK its a bit wider, or it flares differently.
there IS a difference but to the general public, no one can tell.

 

I could be wrong but from what I know, the actual deck lids themselves are identical but the Type-S has the added/attached lip spoiler where base has none.

I added the optional Acura wing to mine since I have the base model.
