Is it true that the TL logs everything?
Sniff, sniff..

Then, I was on page 1234 of the owner's manual and discovered that they are crotch sniffers for strangers you might offer a ride. If you hear a sound from the front speakers that sounds like muffled laughing by the Voice Bitch, followed by a "clapping" noise, activate the EJECT button located under the driver's seat. (This feature is only on Navi models.)

 made me do it.
I had a girlfriend in college that wanted to drive my car at the time (a 5 speed Mitsu eclipse). She accidentally went from 5th to 2nd and got the engine up to 8k rpm.
Luckily, she pushed the clutch back in before the engine grenaded. No damage done, but that was the last time she drove my car!
She also had a stick car, but it was a 4 speed. I guess she just wasn't used to that extra gear up top.

Dude, don't take into account that everything that you read on all forums are true. It's up to you whether you want to be gullible or smart enough to distinguish BS from the truth.
I do remember that RSX post though, but it's proabaly some dumbass' first time to drive a manual.

Since I've already graduated from college, I personally consider myself too old for tire spinning.

Just to clarify...
People need to get the whole OBD vs. Black Box thing correct.
EVERY car built from 1996 on has OBDII. This is On Board Diagnostics II (2nd generation). Some cars prior to 1996 had an earlier version. There's a port under the drivers side dash were you can plug in a scan tool. I have a cheap $100 handheld model from Autozone that gives codes and basic diagnostics. Dealers and better repair shops have expensive models that diagnois a sh*tload of things.
The black box is what everyone is all worked up about and collects data after a crash.

Not sure if this has anything to do with this thread, lol but my front tires are worn really bad. but i know its partially do to winter driving...there's lots of hills in my town and getting up them sometimes means a little tire spin on the way up......my alignment is off now and the inside tread of my front drivers side tire is nearly bald where as the outside tread still has some meat to it...I wonder what Acura is gonna say about it this friday when i have them look at it
One of my boys works at Acura and he showed me all the crap on the system they use for the car, it records how many times the redline was been hit between gears...... in time and few other measurements. Im sure they can determine how badly the car's been beaten...... on my friends lease they actually shut the VTEC off because he beat on it so much. =( If you have the modus system from snapon you can also view all the things it records.
