There is no brand new ASPEC suspension in the whole united states.


Well here is my situation.
Bought the car with full aspec 3 weeks ago.
Took the car w/o the aspec package since they told me it will take about a week for them to get it.

now its been 3 weeks. I dropped my car off last saturday, they call me now saying that they didn't get the steering wheel in. AND! they are saying they can't get the suspension anymore until 2008? LOL
so the sales person tells me that he will refund the suspension money. LOL

I would not want to even take the car w/o the complete package.

What can i do? any suggestions?

 

There are several A spec kits listed on Ebay, below is just one example. I'd just the buy the kit somewhere else and then take it to your dealer and let them install it.

My suggestion is to confine the discussion to a single thread, not to post multiple ones grumbling about it repeatedly (as I see you have another thread just two spots down the forum and a third, identical to this, three spots below that).

Perhaps the moderators will do the honors?

 

Get a refund for the suspension. Go buy some Tein SS coilovers and call it a day. The SS is adjustable height and dampening so you can set it to your liking.

And tell them to install a comptech swaybar for free for all the stress they put you through.

Oh, believe me, I understand being mad about it and am not giving you crap for that; it was just that with the 11:45 thread about "where is my ASPEC?" and the 16:49 thread about "True or False?" it seemed redundant, that's all.

 

Hehe...better yet...make them install it for FREE if you can walk in there with the parts...see what they say. If they're so sure that no one can get the parts then they should agree to it....right? Go get in on ebay for 1/3 the cost and get it installed for next to nothing, I just got my a-spec kit that way and had my dealer install the body kit while I did the suspension myself.

 

It is redunant at this point....look at his post history.....how many thread do you need to discuss this issue? This is like your forth thread now.....

Isn't the Tein SS MINIMUM drop around 1.5 inches?

 

I had the same issue. Ordered my TL with full Aspec from the dealer. Car arrived and they said they had no Aspec when I purchased the car almost a month in advance. I refused to pick the car up until it was completed. They told me I could pick up the car and come back for the Aspec install. I said no way. In a week they had the car completed. That was 2yrs ago.

 

If it is true that Acura stopped making A-spec, is it because upcoming 2007 TL has some minor change in body style? I'm just guessing here.
