Is it true that the tl type-s deck lid does not fit into the regular tl(i have a base 04) i asked this dude at the acura parts cause i was interested of getting it and he said it does not fit so dont waste your money on it. He also said that he told the same thing to this other dude but he didnt listen and he bought the type-s deck lid and it didnt fit....so he brought it back and the dude at acura parts didnt take it back.....so i just want to make sure if he is bs-ing me or w.e......any suggestions ?

 

It fits. I have it on mine as do alot of other members.

 

it fits fine, but installing it can be a big PITA since there is no template on where to drill holes. It's best you have a bodyshop install it.

 

good looks bro....quick question does the package come with everything that i need ? like a scale where to drill the holes...ya ill have a body shop to do the job.

 

It is not an accessory so it doesnt usually come with all the parts needed to install the spoiler, unless the dealership you are buying it from sells you the complete install kit along with it.

I did not use all the different pins that came with my spoiler. The spoiler comes with 3 push pins of one kind, 2 of one kind and 2 bolts. I replaced the push pins with bolts as well hence my spoiler is bolted to the trunk with 7 bolts .

I'd have to dig up the part numbers as I dont have them with me but if you do get the spoiler then get 7 of those bolts and have a body shop install it for you.
