hey guys seems i'm having transmission issues on my 04 TL. now i have a friend who has a 08 Transmission he wants to sell me,now i know it will bolt up but is there anything else that would have to be done to make this swap work? now i was thinking of just getting it rebuilt, but this would be cheaper for me. your opinions please because if all is good i will be picking it up this weekend thank you.

there are more sensors in the 08 transmission. No one has really ever attempted it though.

can't believe no one has done this yet. from what im hearing its just a relay that has to be switched but just wanna make sure before buying this transmission .

I don't think the 3.5l 07-08 trans will bolt on to the 04-06 3.2l engine.
I've asked this question long time ago no one confirmed it can be done.
Keep us posted if you're doing this swap.

not sure if its gonna be worth the trouble so just thinking of rebuilding mines. was hoping for it to be a straight plug & play but guess its not.

Dude if I were you swap it with an 06-07 V6 accord tranny.
Cheaper and a member here had success with it last time I message him he did 5k+ miles on it already or so. Just an idea.
