sound like a legit shop, but make sure you get that 1 year warranty.

I recently had to rebuild my 2000 F150 4x4 transmission and everyone i spoke with had a 1yr 12k miles warranty and the cost was $1200 +/- 300 dollars. i finally found a guy that done it for 1000.00. that included all the parts and labor. i know a ford is not an acura but it seems an auto tranny rebuild is normally around 1500+/-. I would recommend getting the warranty in writing.

Do a 1x3 with a quality fluid every time that you change your oil and see how much longer you can go. You might be surprised how long it will last.
