Transmission Issues?
Transmission Issues?
Greetings my fellow Acura enthusiasts, I' am reaching out in hopes of finding a resolution to what I believe may be a problem with my transmission?
Issue: every single time I would come to a stop, regardless if I apply pressure on the brakes or just letting the car come to a gradual deceleration, the car's behavior feels like a rough downshifting jerk. I've been told it is due to the car's sporty nature which I find it hard to believe. A car of this caliber should not behave like this. Am I wrong?
Action taken: dealer cannot find anything wrong, transmission flush, no issue up to factory standards according to the dealer. Brake pads and rotors are still good according to the dealer.

Any guidance, recommendations, and advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Read this about the switches AT3rdClutch
Although it won't affect every down shift, are you familiar with the Grade Logic Brake integration? At times, especially on downhill deceleration, the "system" will downshift so harshly/abruptly, it will just about put you through the windshield...... Slight exaggeration, but it will throw you forward, so to contradict your statement, a car of this caliber will behave this way.
for the TL, It's somewhat normal to have a transmission upshift a bit too soon as you decelerate. But new "switches" (as mentioned above) may help. New switches and new fluid is best to help keep the slippage down under normal driving, which will help the transmission last longer.. But I would blend out the 5x3 swap over a few months (if you drive a lot) to give your transmission time to adjust.
