I noticed today that when I shift from Drive into Reverse, it makes a wierd noise. I did it a few times and every time it makes that same noise. Has anyone else have this problem? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

 

it makes a clicking sound. its normal. have the same.

 

how many miles do you have on your car?

initially mine did that, but as i started to put more miles on the car, the clicking noise lessened...

 

Almost 1,500 miles. I am going to bring it in for the vibration in the steering wheel and was going to bring this up also but figured i better find out what it is about 1st.

It wouldn't hurt for it to be checked, but a certain amount of "click" or "clunk" is normal.

 

There are threads in Garage discussing about this, too. For this FWD vehicle, it's quite normal.
