the dealer where i bout my tl has an 04 6-speed with navi 100k on it, my tl is an 06 At with 113k on it just wanted to see what you guys think the guy at the dealer will trade it for mine i post pics of both thanks for your help deciding

see if they will give you the parts for a timing belt and water pump in the deal.. maybe if they do that you can straight trade?

Personally I like the Quartz interior a bit more than the black. I didn't at first but after looking at a few cars I preferred it and actually got the Anthracite/Quartz car. You have a beautiful car there.. Don't get screwed on the deal just because you want nav and a few less miles.

I vote no. Your wdp looks great. I'm not digging the wing spoilor on the 04.

I love everything about your current car, except the AT. But the stealership is ripping you off if you do a straight trade.

the wing i can always get rid of it thats not a problem and ill swap my suspension, exhaust, rims, side markers and tail lights cause i have type's ones, and also my cleared headlights

In my opinion keep the 06, more rare (white/black) more value,newer and don't see the advantage to get the 04, brembo brakes? it's not worth it.

the question is how bad do you want a 6MT and navi? I drove 12 hours to get my 6MT but still got no navi. but thats a sexy WDP! just think twice before making the trade! dont get screwed over! keep us updated!

dont downgrade even if it is m/t i would trade you if i where him he knows he can get more money for your 06 dont do it. if you want a m/t sell yours and buy a m/t same year or newer.

6MT is a completely different car than your 5AT.

2: How does the clutch feel? Worn? Grabs hard?

I'd do it in a heart beat if the car drives nice.

This is the best answer. If you want a m/t, sell yours first, then shop for a m/t. Otherwise, you will be worse off.

There are 4 TL's listed on Autotrader right now that are White, with Nav and a M/T. An '04, an '05, an '06 and an '08.

if the car is in good shape and everything checks out with ur personal mechanic, i would jump on it, esp since u didn't buy ur car new, so i feel its the same risk if you were going to jump ship now and you will get a 6MT!

Im going to the dealer with my cousin hes a mechanic I test drove it yesterday it runs pretty smooth and no oil leaks except for a leak it has behind the power steering pump,

But if they would do the 105K service...i'd say its a no brainer. If they won't then I'd probably look around more. Maybe try to sell your car. But if you don't want the hassle of trying to sell then be without a car until you find one...then this trade maybe what you want

I wouldnt trade the cars. Didnt some of the 04 tls have issues with the dash cracking? Id shop around a little more see what other deals you may find before jumping on this one.

The tranny is what makes it a completely different car. I think a clean trade would be fair if they do the 105k service for you at no charge. If not sell yours and shop around!
