Looks like they came down $600 more if I read your numbers right. You want navi and a better built car. With this deal the only guarantee is the navi.

Is it worth it to have a mid year 05 w/navi vs an early 04 non/navi? That's worse case. Think I would try to get them down another $500-$1000 and then go with it. But that's just me. Best Wishes.

Well, I got hold of another Atlanta dealership and told them I wanted it for 6k out the door, and 10 minutes later, I got the deal. Now to call Acura Carland back. I am going to confirm with corperate the 2k and if so its up to carland to match 6k or I go to another dealer. I'll post with an answer as soon as corp opens and I get and answer from them and carland.

Geez, i was tossing around the idea of trading my non-navi '05 for a Navi '05. I should see what the #'s would be on that exchange. I don't think you are doing that bad considering the problems w/ the '04. Good luck

The G35 is close but there just is not the back seat/ trunk room. I looked at Lexus and well I would need a LOT more money to get into a comparable GS. I have spent a lot of time on this and the TL is deinitely the best "bang for your buck" I rmember when bang for your buck was a mustang LX 5.0L fpr 12ki...times have changed for me. Now its a family car for 35k..

Hold out for the new 2006 BMW 330i. It is redesigned and looks terrific with an enhanced motor (255 hp). My wife drives an '04 325i. It is a nice little car but not really in the same class as my '05 TL. I'll be looking at the '06 Bimmer as perhaps I'd be interested in trading up with her Bimmer. . .

Just my
I've not heard of anyone having those kind of problems with the '05 TLs. I certainly don't. My only complant is how skittish the car is under hard acceleration and it gets twitchy at speed. I'm having the comptech 22mil sway bar installed and hopefully that will tame this pony a bit. From what I've heard it helps a lot. I'm also having upgraded tires mounted. I"ve been running Dunlop M3 snows all winter so that may account for some of the twitchiness as well.

Not interested in the BMW, it is a smaller car and to get it optioned out like a TL your going to pay a lot more. I have called Acura corperate again and let hem know that I think the dealershiip might be trying to profit more on the 2k they are giving me, I hope its not the case but am awaiting a call back from my rep who is out of town till the 29th. Thanks for all the inputs...
I see another thread that somebody is trying to traded as well...see how things go for them.

FYI - the 2005 has the same 50/60 vibration problem too.

There does not seem to be as much of that with the 05 as the early build 04, which mine is. The car will get a thourough test before anything is signed. It is also an oppurtunity to get the Navi which I really wish I had gotten initially.

Well, Acura Corp adn Acura Carland have come through. Acura ended up giving me $2500 to hlep me get intoa new TL, and the dealership treated me great on the trade and Price of the car. I am walking away with a new 05TL with Navi, Redondo Red Parrchment for $%ooo out the door. I ordered it yesterday and it is coming form another dealership Saturday, unfortunately I am leaving town today and will be putting about 1500 miles on the old TL before trading when I come back on Thursday. A thourough test drive will happen before all the paperwork is signed and hopefully I will vibration and rattle free. I will post on here next week with updates on the trade and the new TL. Thanks for all the advise and thanks to Acura and Acura Carland for taking the extra steps to take care of a customer.
Now its off to Florida for a mini spring break...my wife and son get to stay the whole week, I have to be at work on Tuesday...Boooo!!!
