I went to Englishtown Last Wed. night with a buddy of mine who has an evo. ON my first pass I ran a 14.2 which is not bad. On the second pass I ran a 14.3 . My best time was my last run was a 14.01. I was real suprised I was able to run 14 flat on 19's. My buddy was running his usual low 12's like it was his job. Any way I hope once I get my crank pulley I will be able to get it into the 13's at least a 13.9.

Nice time, but remember that the RJ 19's arent the typical heavy as sin wheels. Arent they like almost identical to the weight of the stock 17's? I know the 17's that came with my CL-S were heavy as sin for an alloy wheel (like 26lbs). Plus I'm sure your 19's have more aggressive rubber than stock crap, so that'll help traction.

it's gotta be a 6MT w/intake to come close to 14.01 or else you are telling us a fib I think.

Even if they are just as heavy (or light for that matter), having most of the wheel's mass farther away from the center of rotation, requires more effort from the car to move it.

You can call it what you want but I have the proof. I am just trying to get it on here. My scanner wont work and when I try to take a digital pic its not clear enough to read numbers. I gave it to my father to bring to his job to scan it in for me so I should have it on by monday.

I am going to get the comptech. I am also going to have the Cats removed. I am going to have a custom down pipe made. My buddy works for a perfomance shop ans said that its actually very easy but he is worried about clearance because my car is low. If you look at the stock y pipe where it comes together some of the piping is almost flattened for clearance.

yeah you got me man. Trust me if I was doing that I would have just posted my I/H/E RSX slip from a year ago. You people just are unbeleivable. All you have to say is negative comments. HAHAHAHAHA I call BS. Good for you. Just becuase you cant drive and can barely hit 14,s you call bs right away. I have been driving a stick since I was 13 on my fathers work truck. I went to 3 different driving schools and I can run just about anything down the strip at its full potential. As soon as I get my scanner working I will show you all my paper work showing what car it is and the car number on the car and the number on the track reciept bog mouth. do me a favor, dont make comments when you dont know what your talking about.

Let's not kid ourselves here - being able to drive a car to full potential is important in achieving the best times, but even Mario Andretti can't get a stock 5spd Hyundai Accent to run 14s. The car has to have the potential to do it, and in this case, I don't think the TL does. Just my

I believe you even without the slips. According to some of the magazines, they were able to get the Aspec packaged TL to run 14.2 but at the same time I know that what the magazines aren't always accurate. But since you have the AEM air intake and you claim to be a good driver, it can be done.

I should go run my car so I can back you up........
