Totaled My 2001 IS300

Hello everyone. I'm a noob here and I had my IS300 for ten years with 187K miles. Out of nowhere a 1972 GMC Sonoma Ice Cream truck rear ends me and totals my baby. I guess things always happens for a reason.

The good thing that came of this was that I was able to get a CPO 2008 TL Nav in CBP & ebony interior w/35K miles for $23,500.

The '05 WDP TL in the background belongs to my brother. He has the A-Spec body kit, Eibach springs, and Type-S side markers and tail lights.

I'm looking forward to giving my new baby a makeover. So far, i have ordered the group buy A-Spec kit from AckTL05, plan to tint the 7 windows,Type-S side markers, and JDM type tail lights. I will keep you guys posted. Thank you for all the help I've gotten so far and there is a plethora of resources here that I'm afraid will bankrupt me

Oh, well. There's a cost for looking cool.

Welcome aboard. Just a suggestion, talk to Ack about doing your tails while you're at it. There's a bevy of options available.

Sorry about the IS and congrats on the CBP TL. Love that color!! hey just curious what do you think of the TL so far compared top the IS? which one do you like more what are some benefits or drawbacks of each?

I LOVE that color...gorgeous pick up. I wonder how it is going RWD to FWD, but I'm sure you won't be unhappy. It's an amazing and all around car. Sorry to hear about your IS. That is a great car!

It's a little different. Got to get use to the pulling effect of the FWD. The TL has more power and appears to be smoother ride so far.

I meant blacked out tail lights...JDM look or whatever it is called.
