Torque to weight ratio

Curious to see the 0-60 times for the 2004TL
I am wondering if there will be noticeable differences in "off the line" , mid range acceleration (60-100) and top end speed performance?

When I first got my TLs 2003, I was very impressed .... however,
I am now looking for a lot more torque and acceleration. Will the TL 04 quench that thirst...probabaly not

A lot more torque = RWD or AWD.
A little more torque = FWD.

I would venture a guess that the new TL has a flatter torque curve which is important, but with FWD it can only have so much before it needs to have AWD.

With only 10 more horsepower, and like 8 lbs more torque out of the same engine as the 2003 Type S, I doubt there will be much of a performance gain. Actually, the best improvement is probably the tires. The 2nd Gen Michelins suck!
