Tornado Fuelsaver.
Check out this website Myauto.tv....it claims that this cylindrical thing can save money on gas and improve horsepower. Anyone have this? What are people's opinion on this, since i am a novice when it comes to engines. Thanks.

This is one of the biggest infomercial scams since Dionne Warwick's Psychic Friends Network.

Haven't we all learned by now that at least 9 out of 10 products and services sold on infomercials are ripoffs?!?!?

Hey!!! Speaking of whom, Regarding the EL-42 tire situation, why don't we ALL go to the window, stick our heads out and, no, better yet, all call Acura customer service at THE EXACT SAME TIME and yell:
"I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!"

A guy claiming to be the son of the inventor frequented the 2G board awhile ago, claimed to own a TL, and claimed to be able to get dyno readings on a TL that PROVED HP gains. Of course, no data ever appeared and the regulars on the board basically had him for dinner.
Made for some great threads.

Here's another great scam that claims to give you 27% mileage increases by 'atomizing' your fuel:

With gas prices rising the way they are, now's a ripe time for the 'fuel saving' scam artists to feed on the public.

A good thing to keep in mind with any amazing fuel savings device that costs $200 or less:
If it really works, why haven't the Chemical, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering PhDs at the Japanese or German automobile companies implemented it in their designs a decade or so ago?
Don't give me any of the "Oil Company / Car Company Conspiracy" Urban Legend cr@p - The Japanese and German manufacturers would probably love to screw over our oil companies if they could. Also, just about every other country pays are at least twice what we pay for gas, so they are more incentivized than us to produce fuel efficient cars.
So, look at who's coming up with 50+ MPG cars these days, after hundreds of millions of dollars of research and a fairly complex hybrid technology? The big Japanese auto makers ... and not with a $100 device that you can slap onto any car.
