well, the first day i got mine back in july, i got it up to 115. that was enough for me. i don't usually ever speed, but i wanted to see what it would do n i already had a stretch of road planned out.

my safety is more important than my need for speed.

 

i hit 2000mph.

In the TL I've hit 138. My grand-dad has a Gallardo and we hit 165ish. He was driving though.

If you have a 5at TL-S you have a governor around 133-135mph. Base models and 6mt TL-S have no governor. Actually the governor for the base models is debatable. Some say 155, some say unlimited and the car is drag/power limited to 155.

 

Less than a 100 mph, IIRC, and I usually drive below 80 mph.

No speed governor on the '04-06 TL.

Do you have a Type-S? If so, it has a speed governor.
IDK if the regular '07-'08 TL has a speed governor.

I went a little bit above 150mph before I let off. My neighbor told he took his '05 TL to 160mph. I doubted him when he first told me, but after trying it for myself I think it's possible.

It's amazing how planted it felt at such high speeds, I was pleasantly surprised.

*Edit: Most people say the 04-06 base is limited to 155mph FWIW.

i have done 140-145 like twice on the 10 freeway. i wasnt looking at the speedo too much cuz there were a few cars on the slow lane so i didnt want to run into them. i have done 150 a couple times before i totaled my 2009 maxima sv. i miss my maxima so much sometimes but i like the TL just as much.
