Tails are a direct swap.

Headlights require:
* different size ballasts,
* 9005 inner lense bulb (don't use a regular bulb because the heat will melt the housing at full power),
* 1157 parking/turn signal bulbs,
* 1157 type-s socket, and
* electrical connector for the 1157 socket.

If you have an 06, then it will work but 04-05 have larger ballasts and won't "seal" up the headlight as the ballasts locks out moisture.

The fogs will still function normally with TL-S headlights.

9005 and 9006 use the same pigtails... but the tabs are angled differently.
Some members, however, have noticed melted shrouds/housings for the DRL/Fogs though...

You could have sold your 04 ballasts and bought 06 and maybe didn't have to pay anything. I wouldn't cut corners anywhere, it always comes to bit you in the ass later, but thats just me. All you need is moisture to get in the headlights and ballast and blow your whole set up, then you will be pissed that you didn't spend around $30 difference in the two for a $300 repair.

stock bulb might be sufficient.
the reason it melts the housing is cause your inner-light will be powered as fogs at 100% versus DRLs which run at 50%.
