TL vs TSX: Ride Quality
I have a loaner car this weekend. The technician that has to check the car for rattles won't be in until Mon. and I can't bring the car in on Mon. so they ask me to leave my car with them. Anyway they gave me a TSX. I still have the car and I love the way it feels. I've driven one before but only for a test drive. The car hanldles pretty well and it even has a better ride quality than my 04 TL even though when driven hard I think the TL hold it's own better. I wonder if it's because of the tires or is it because of it's suspension or maybe even both. I just assumed that the TL is bigger and more exspensive so it will automatically have a better ride quality, right? I called the salesman that sold me my TL and questioned him about the matter and he said that the TL is heavier so that's why the TSX rides better. I don't buy that because many cars are heavier than the TL with a better ride quality. Please give input on maybe, why is this?
RSX's top model could be better... dunno, but I do feel TSX is more dexterous in some ways. If the handling is the issue I care that much, for my preference, I'll buy 3-series.
Also, if talking about "handling" and "ride quality", sometimes, I do feel my 94Legend is better than my 04TL, plus Legend has smaller turning radius. However, once 04TL hits on the highway, it's much better than Legend, TSX, or RSX.

The Tsx drives more stiffly so the body motions are more frequent and sharper, however, it is very well dampened so it doesn't thrash or feel crusty. The TSX suspension is made for Europe where the roads are much better maintained than here. The TL is softer since its a US accord so the setup is built with our roads in mind. That's one of the main reasons the TSX feel so sporty in regular handling, the stiffer the more agile the car feels.
