TL vs TL vs TL

6MT turanza- 0-60 - 5.7, 1/4 - 14.4(C&D)
6MT HPT - 0-60 - 5.8, 1/4 - 14.5(C&D)
A-SPEC - 0-60 - 5.7, 1/4 - 14.2(MT) turanza-0-60-6.0,1/4-14.4(MT)
I know these tests arent always that accurate but do you think this is weird, perhaps the bigger rim helps the front tires link up better in the a-spec, this i could understand but how bout the hpt vs 6mt. Anyone know why this could be or have driven all versions of the TL for a better firsthand comparison.

Man, I'm tired of all kinds of folks wringing their hands over 1/4 mi times from these tests...

Even with the same car you will get different results with different:

air temp
road temp
humidity
road surface
drivers (find someone who shifts at the same speed as someone else)
tire temp and pressure
clutch temp
engine warm up
altitude

Any difference of less than .5 seconds is meaningless. And in all likelihood, these tests will always get faster results than you.

I have this guy I always beat at the track although his car dynos with higher HP than mine. Why? Cause he's a spaz.

I agree with TLOBLLC as far as reasons that results may vary. In addition, one would expect a worse takeoff with the 18's. As the saying goes, "YMMV".
