TL vs Bentley Quality
We all know that any Bentley far exceeds the quality of a TL, but I thought it was ironic that the July issue of Motor Trend noted that the new Bentley Flying Spur had some wind noise around the A-pillars. Ken Scott who works for Bentley stated that "the door fits are not quite right on these early build cars-but, otherwise the Bently's progress is effortless and serene". On a $165,000 automobile you would think even on the early models everything would fit tight. My whole point for this post is that we and I say we collectively, sometimes are hard on Acura for a $35,000 TL having a few kinks when a car that cost almost five times the TL has wind noise on the early models because the doors do not fit quite right. When I read that my eyes were like
. Not a Bentley. It made me feel not as bad about the few kinks the TL has that some of us make out to be the worst car on earth. Just my

there are no rattles on my moms 01 tl but tons on my 04. hers cost less than mine. i expected mine to be better with the noise issue...the glove box fitment...interior panel fitment, butt prints, etc.

And see that BMW vs. M3 thread to get my feelings on this, but I'll just say, at that point in the car game, you are buying status unattainable by any Japanese manfacturer.

Guess what, the newer Bentleys have much better build quality than the old ones but OWNERS know, this is not the most reliable car and they do have problems. But Good God, when you pull up in one, who gives a CRAP about some extra wind noise?
Bitch pass the Grey Poupon
