TL vs Autocross....

So yesterday I was invited to attend the SCCA sponsored Autocross session at Gainesville Raceways Road Course... So naturally....I jumped on it!!!

The TL behaved exceptionally well, very balanced- great brakes even with 30k on them- there was a little bit of bodyroll too but that didn't stop me from winning my class!!!!

Woot! I have some vids and pics for you guys to check out... it was such a blast and I encourage everyone to try it. $35 bux for the time of your life in YOUR car!

I have to admit it is awesome seeing your car in full tilt

I have a few more vids too i am just waiting for them to upload

^ they look two tone because of the sun coming in from the passengers open window; but if you look at the headrest you can see where it cuts off - it just makes it look like a light silver..

nice vids.. anything of your car 'up close' so we can hear the tires and the engine ?

Looks like you had a blast.

Any plan of getting some in-car footage? That would be awesome to see the tach at the same time.

Auto-x is fun, I just dont like the waiting 12 hrs to get in 6 minutes of seat time. (At least in my region) I've auto crossed all my previous cars. Im sure Ill get the TL out on of these days. What class does it run in anyways? GS?

Well, he was running "N" at that event which is anyone who is a new racer.

According to the SCCA list, it runs G stock. RSX type S, audi a4, a6, a8, bmw 325e, about half the 318i series, c6 camaro, etc, etc.
