I have a 2000 TL with 85K miles on it and it is without a doubt the best car I have ever owned. Despite just having the tranny replaced recently, I still love this car. It is the first car that I have kept for more than two or three years in the last 30 years. My wife has an '07 3.0 CL with a slipping transmission and we plan to replace it soon. Since Acura no longer has a coupe, she is looking at the '08 Accord coupe.

My question is - what really is the difference between the Acura TL and the Accord? I know they share the same frame but what else is the same. Are all the drive train components the same? Suspension & steering, etc?

She really wants a coupe but if there are significant differences, I might try to push her toward Acura.

nope, nothing should be the same, not even the body for the accord as it was redesigned. The old accord was a TL body with TSX everything Else.
