I just got rid of my type S RSX to avoid the temptation of speeding and I see this!!

Honestly, It's not cool to speed on public road, you can kill yourself and others and face heavy consequences. Just imagine you hurting someone, how would your family feel with you in jail? OR if you killed yourself, or hurt your self so bad that your brain dead? I hate to seem so graphic but It's the truth. Chill out guys and be safe. Leave that for the track. Our cars are meant to be driven normally.

I'm not in the rest of this argument but that's incorrect. Try holding a camera while doing a 0-60 run and try holding a camerea from 120mph and up. I think Bert would agree, trying to handle his turbo TL below 60mph is a lot harder than holding it steady at triple digit speeds.

Very true. I get torque steer at 80mph. Thats with upgraded front and rear sway bars. This car is incredibly smooth at triple digit speeds.

Upgraded front/rear sway bars with megan coilovers set to almost full stiff provides a ride that is just as smooth and tight at 70mph and 140.

Most of the time I have my video camera connected to a mount that secures to my headrest. It aims right at my speedo. This vid was for tuning purposes.

Oh yeah, I get torque steer at 5mph when I run over paint lines and it's a little damp.

Since we're on the topic, did you ever test it with the stock ECU and turbo to see if there really was a governor around 155 on the earlier TLs? I picked my point which was about 5 miles of perfectly straight downhill at about 3am and my speedo said 160mph before I let off but not sure if it was speedo error or if there is no governor. It was so painfully slow getting up there that I don't think I could feel it if a governor were to kick in.

Not being a bitch well depends on if you ask my woman. I have had mine up to around 130 on public highway. road was empty my only worry was for myself my car or the state trooper sitting on the side of the rd. the shots you took on you tube were middle of the day on busy rd. no doubt you can handle your ride its that damn blue haired old lady that decides to pull out in front of you that takes out you her and the other three that are in range of the projectile.

I've hit 150-155 at a track in my 06 AT. Didn't want to pass it because my car was shaking like a bitch. Needed a balance also so that didn't help.

Oh, wow, didn't know that... Then by all means, it's perfectly alright to speed at 157 mph on a road with traffic on it while holding a camera. My apologies, you are not a dumbass.

Never tested with the stock ecu. But the butterfly closes when you get up 155. If you watch my vid closely up top, youll see when it gets to 155 and over, the a/f starts creeping up to the 14s We had no idea it would do that so I backed off when I noticed it. Otherwise there was still room to go

When we street tuned the car after the dyno, we only ran the car up to 150 so we had no idea what would happen when we went over that.

AFAIK.

So the TL-S 5AT is the ONLY model/trim with a limiter at ~132 mph?

As far as speed limiters on the first manual 3G's, like the 04's, there isn't a governor or limiter. But, the top speed is around 155mph due to the wind and road resistance "overpowering" the motor and gearing. I think this is referred to as "drag limited"?
