Im considering picking up a set of TL type S headlights, supposedly they are complete with bulbs, sockets, ballasts. What else do I need to do to make it work in my 04 base? Previous owner nodded the hell of of these stock ones and they’re not my taste but more importantly he screwed up somewhere because although they may LOOK bright I can’t see crap at night.

the going rate for the OEM type-s headlights is whatever Acura will sell them for.
and then you can even google for used units...the going rate will be whatever you find them for.
and then you can even search for Aftermarket units.

for the 04, I believe you will need to switch to the slimmer ballast, like the 06-08's.
then, you will need to do some surgery on the wire harnesses. cut the 04 connector off and splice it to the type-s headlight
