Hey guys unfortunately I had to sell my Tl Type s I just bought due to back issues. However before I let it go I took care of that terrible discoloration that seems to happen on the front grill. Really easy and I’m sure many have done it but oh well I figured I’d post some before and after. I just took the grill apart. Sanded really well with 320 and then painted with VHT satin black wheel paint. It’s chip resistant and a little more durable. I have used it with wheels and it’s a decent paint. When I was finished it seemed to have bonded well. Who knows. Only time will tell but it didn’t take long and still looks 1000x better than before. I used some adhesion promoter as well that may help it bond. Also clear coated afterwards.
