the conversion is simple you can do it in an hour or so but the fog wiring is a bit of a pain.... its all take apart and put back together everything is pretty much the same oh and you need to get the bumper paint as well. im sure thats a given

omg! WOW that is a lot for just a friggin bumper and grill. I don't know if it is a good deal but it is a lot.

The only way I'd do this is if I got into an accident and the insurance was paying.

dude, re-read. thats not bad including shipping, and include aspec rear and sides, plus the grills. its not a bad deal. crappy part is that it still gotta be painted.

I did the a 07+ base conversion on mine. Also wired the OE fogs as independant DRL's, and wired the 07+ fogs independant w/ 5K HID kit.

Looks like you forgot about the 07+ lower fog housings. Those things are pricy, especially if you buy OEM. Depo makes aftermarket housings for a little cheaper.

For my 07+ fog conversion I used a HC Hilights wiring/relay kit, led cabin switch, and HID kit. It's all independant from the OE wiring.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I didn't want to start a similar thread. Does anyone know the exact parts I'd need for a Type-S Rear End Conversion. I got into a little accident and need a new rear bumper and instead of getting a base rear bumper and cutting open the holes again for the type-s rear lip I'm gonna get the type-s rear bumper.

I didnt forget just didnt want to shell out 400 bucks for fogs.
And I already have the Type S aspec front lip which has the grilles for fogs so all I need are the fog. It will be added later.

Yeah I rolled around for a few months with just the holes while I searched for the best deal. The OEM style housing does look really clean. There was another member here who retro'd projectors into the 07-08 housing. Looked pretty cool.
