Yep... 5 series and 7 series and all....

This list being based on "visits to the site's vehicle pages during the third quarter of 2004", I hope this translated to good sales for Acura!

Not to burst anyone's bubble, because I love my TL - rattles and all, but did you see how the "rankings" were done? It's based upon the total number of people clicking on the car's link for research. So it's more of a who wins the "gee, I'd like to know more about this car" contest. But then maybe that's a good thing, too.

Yes I noticed that too. Look at the trap speeds. It shows that the auto is putting as much power to the ground as the 6MT!
Do I hear a ?

Gotta like that if you have a 5AT!

I think there's something solid to be said about a car that's attracting this much attention...especially for those of us already seated in one and gettin' the looks ! At least it's an objective measure, as opposed to "feels solid" or "classic lines" or "dynamic styling"

Yep, just like the betting scene always predicting better than the pundits. People who are putting down $35K out of their own pockets will look at everything out there more objectively. Bodes well for the TL - kinda like winning the popular vote

I think that this should have come as no surprise to any of us . It's everything I was looking for when I was shopping the market and it cost about the same as most cars it competes with. People have voted for the winner with their purchase decisions.

Love your logic dsc888 but that could also apply to all those Camry's Toyota sells too.

In reality though as you go higher up in the car food chain people become more discriminating and look for something more than an appliance. You could put Kenmore on the hood of a Camry and people would feel right at home.
