tl-s vs modded mini

Just got out of work and had to get a pack of smokes so I pull in the gas station. As soon as I pull in there is this red mini revving at me before/during and as I pull out the gas station he is on my ass. long story short I didn't want to race on that road but the dude keeps pacing me then pulls alittle ahead and hits the hazards. that was the straw that broke the camels back,I was behind him (car moving slow in my lane so i got behind him). then there was open 2 lane roadroad. He hits it as do I and i'm on his ass until I pull a quick lane change and stretch by about a car. the little fucker suprised me cuz it took what seemed like forever to pass,as we were at each other's doors. When I got a fender in front I hit hazards.
I don't know his mods besides the exh/int i heard but the little fucker was quick.
after i was like a car and still pulling a slight bit I shut down, and he flies by and hits hazards.

sidenote: I thought this was funny, beat a g35 by about a car but lost to a 350z soon after (both seemed stock)

was that the new mini cooper s? If so, those are very quick. 0-60 in 6.2, and 1/4mile in 14.8s. With a few simple mods those things will literally fly. That's the result of turbo + lightweight.

i always wondered about the Mini...i see a ton of Cooper S ones around here...

the thing must weight a 1/3 of what our car does...so their mods probably impact their performance at greater ratios than ours...

its more like 6.2s stock, but again simple mods and they will do 5.5 no problem.
