I am curious I have a 2005 Acura TL. Now I am probably going to get the A-Spec Body soon to it, but will my current SPlash Guards from Acura fit on it? Like will it attach to the A-Spec no probs the same?

 

 

Well doesnt that just stink.. Do they make Splash guards for the A-Spec? Orrrrr..... Am I going to be liking the new sand color on my pant on the sides. :P

 

It's not too big of an issue. The Aspec kit adds a nice little lip all the way around your car. I just added mine last fall.

 

ya they have splash gaurds for the aspec kit just ordered some for my car now that i have the aspec kit

Please verify this. Acura has never had splash guards for 3G TL's with the A-Spec kit. It is hard to believe Acura would create splash guards on a non-production model.

 

I was thinking about customizing mine when i get it.

Cant u drill holes on the kit so that u can screw it?

Well if you ask me.. The Splash Guards are quite important. I dont live in areas like most of you do. I live in the mountains. Like REALLY in the mountains. Dirt rocks you get the point. I dont want to rip the darn a-spec off.. Or sand blast my car.

 

anything is possible, I mean trace out the orignal and aspec differences, then cut the guards. The holes should still be the same since you are not altering them.

 

Interesting project JwongTLS. I think you will be the first to pull it off. Please post pics when you finish.

 

It would be really cool if someone did a DIY on this!

 

I really like my splash guard and dont want to lose it when I get my ASPEC KIT. I will definately try this when I get it

but anyone should feel free to try this as well and let us know how it goes!

 

i always thought you had to sacrifice the splash guards for the aspec =[ but now there might be a solution looking forward to seeing how it torns out JwongTLS!

I purchased mine for a base 08 and it clearly stated they couldn't be used in conjunction with the lip kit..

Modding is a possibility.. subscribed to see if someone attempts it..

 

does 07 tl type s splash guards fit on a 06, a mamber wants to buy mine but dont know if they will fit
