TL-S sidemarkers

I ordered a set of brand new type-s side-markers to complement my type-s tails. When I went to install them they wont light; however, my red markers work, meaning that it is not a wiring issue. I asked the dealer about this and they said the type-s has a different plug in. Is this true? Did anyone have to replace the actual plug on the car or did it just plug in with nothing else necessary? They might be just burnt out and the dealer doesn't want to admit it lol.

They do use a different plug, but if you give them just a little extra push, they will fit together and they will light.

Yup what he said. They are infact a different plug but you can still get them to fit. You just gotta wiggle it in there a little more.

And that's a definitive fix? Or just a temporary fix until they are shook around or something and go out...

Had mine in for more than a year and no problems. It actually fits tighter because of the different shapes...frankly it's lame that Acura went with a different connector...there's really no good reason for it.
