Whenever I try to go into disc mode it refuses... then when I turned the car off and turned back on, and press disc, it says cd for one sec then disappears and takes me to FM radio. Once I was able to get CD Err.

any thoughts?

 

Have you tried to spit out all the CDs/DVDs and try the process again?

 

You don't have any home made cd's with stick on labels on them do you? Could a label have peeled off and stuck inside the changer?

 

About 2 days after taking delivery of my TL my CD player stopped playing all CD/DVDs, and I had never even tried a burned disc, yet. After a few tests, my dealer just replaced the entire head unit and everything is fine and no rattles. I never received any error message, just loaded a disc and got no response until it turned to the FM radio and just spit the disc out again. It never worked again until I had the head unit replaced.

What was interesting is that I didn't have to re-initiate the XM. I think the XM is just a pass thru to the radio.

I've tried everything, and my discs do not have labels on them. anyway I went to work this morning and the disc mode still didnt work, but after work, its working all of a sudden. I wished it had a reason for it not to work like a disc jam or something,but now im scared...

oh yeah once all of my front console buttons were not working.... but I just turned off the car and on and it worked.


Anyone else having crazy problems or may know why my audio is acting gay?
