You can't use the dollar sign, as in = $800,000 Chinese Dollars. $ means US dollars. It doesn’t start at $800,000, it is 800,000 RBM. All currencies generally have their own symbol as in the British Pound = ₤ or the Euro = €. That is my education for the day. Class demised.

I know nothing about the chinese TL, but I have some contacts with work located in china. I'm going to see if I can get someone to go to an acura dealer purchase these taillight, license plate and reverse/3rd brake light housings. It might take a week or two because I'm very tied down at work but if you can buy these I'll def try to get them. Not sure I'll have any use for them but atleast I can find out if they will be a perfect fit and how they look in person etc.

This may be a dumb question, but why dont we use the same method to clear the corners to remove the red plastic piece in the tail lights? I looked over my TLS and looks like the red piece can be removed.

Hey guys, that 3rd brake light is still where it usually is. The bumper houses only reflectors and perhaps the reverse light.
It's funny, the mudguards are paint matched and the front lower grill has chrome lining like alot of us who've put it on ourselves. Also the HP is still 270hp.

BMW actually sell both import and domestic made 5 and 3.
For example 330i and 320i are both imported. 320i classic is import model but sell for the cheapest at $308k RMB. The top of line 330i sells for $580k. There are 2 more 320i model plus two 325i model that are made in China sells from $339k to $461k.
In other word, BMW sell them at same price range regardless of import or China assembled.

Not knowing what the car market is like in China, going to make some observations anyway.
Not surprising that these cars dont sell well compared to their competition in the country..... The Chinese still harbor animosity towards the Japanese, due to their brutal occupation in WWII.
I would imagine an Analogy is if German car makes attempted to get a huge foothold in Israel......

To some degree that is true. But Toyota and Honda arrived in the market much later than US and Germans. They have since begun to take share away from GM and VW.
The bigger issue is intellectual property right. China's domestic manufacturer makes carbon copy of the car. (For example the F3 and Corolla).

Honda lowers Acura TL price to $51,950 in China
Shanghai. October 16 (Gasgoo.com) - Honda has lowered price of its luxury Acura brands in Chinese market, Shanghai-based newspaper Oriental Morning Post reported today.
Acura TL retail prices have been lowered to 390,000 yuan ($51,950), which is about 40,000 yuan ($5,330) lower than Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). This puts the TL some thousand dollars below fully-equipped models from BMW 5-series, and Lexus GS, according to Shanghai-based Oriental Morning Post.
Meanwhile, Acura RL will be priced at 650,000 yuan ($86,580), which is 30,000 yuan lower than Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price; while price of the new arrival Acura MDX will stay at 670,000 yuan ($89,240), the newspaper reported.
"By keeping the price down, Honda's Acura division hopes to aggressively secure bigger market share in China and gradually establish its luxury brand image among Chinese consumers," said head of Honda Acura's division in China.
Honda created the Acura brand in 1986 to enter the luxury automobile market in North America. Since then, Acura has been established as a premium brand exclusive for North America market. Global sales of the brand so far have reached a record of 3.2 million units.
As demand for luxury cars has increased with the growth of a more affluent class in China, Honda began to deliver Acura to Chinese market in September 2006.
