TL is paid off! Celebrated and put tint on the TL!
all i had to spread the good news...took me a little over 3 years to pay off my $19k car loan. i am excited to no longer have the car payment!
i went this past weekend and installed tints.
decided to stay legal:
45 in the frontseat windows
35 in the rearseat windows
15 on the rear window
it turned out great. having the ebony interior makes it look much darker!
the installer used Johnson Window films and it came with a lifetime warranty including against fading
i also had the guy put moleskin on the front windows to avoid scratching the tints.
let me know what you think!

Congrats. I'm usually not a fan of mix and matching tint percentages, but you took it even further and did three different shades lol. Why not just keep it uniform and do the same percentage all around? I think 35% or 20% all around is the best look. I'm sure it looks good and the differences aren't really noticeable, but I just don't see a point of having different shades on each window, but I'm kinda anal like that ;-)

I just moved to Louisiana, and i wanted to keep the tint legal. per local laws, they allow 45% on front windows, 35% on back, and 15 on rear glass. i haven’t gotten my local tags yet so i didn’t want to risk failing inspection by putting 35% on the fronts...there really isn’t much difference between 45 and 35, especially with the black interior. also it costs the same so i did it this way...i love it.
i still don’t know why i cannot post my pictures on this thread. they uploaded fine..
you can see them here...first 3 pictures:

and yes, i plan on continuing to put my car payment away every month to grow my savings.

You need to upload your pictures to a place like Imageshack, Photobucket, Flickr, ect. Once you do that you can grab the [IMG] code or the "Direct Link" and then click this icon... and paste the direct link in that field.

I think someone should making a thread "no more car payment celebration".

Also, I'd suggest placing that money into an IRA/Roth or Mutual Fund. There are a lot of options out there to invest in and you can be the deciding factor in how aggressive that is. It will also net you more money in the long term versus a savings account which generally yields very, very little in long term growth. Just food for thought.

thanks i got it. i dont really watch my grammer or spelling on this forum.
i did that. i uploaded the pictures to this site and then used the icon. this is not my first post. i am thinking that maybe the AZine site isn't compatiable with the new internet explorer?? but i had the same issue when using chrome. the site won't even let me view my pictures from my album correctly
