DuBois, PA here and I bleed Black and Gold!!! Had a 01 CL-S, now have an 02 TL-S but am looking to upgrade to an 04 or 05. For those in the Burg, if you go to Bairel, ask for Mary Beth Belsito. She's the best and the only one worth dealing with at Bairel. She knows her cars and is really cool, not pushy at all.

Hey there, becker800!
My mom lives in E-town off of Colebrook Road. But, the part of E-town she lives in is still Dauphin County....

I won't hold the Giant's against you my friend! (JK). My b/f is a Buffalo Bills fan ( ), but he's s-l-o-w-l-y coming around to the Eagles, thanks to our Fantasy league and my green fanaticism! But, I did route for the Steelers during SB; I felt like I had too since our other beloved PA team choked <<big sigh>>.

And yes - this weather is absolutely crazy!! One day my car is shiny and smooth as a baby's behind and the next I'm fighting the salt on the road!
I want the 80's back damn it!!!

Do any of you have personalized license plates? I used to think that they were gay, but decided to finally get one anyway: TL4KEL
It rhymed, so why not?

Anytime I see the black DARE license plate, I always chuckle.
The stigma around here is that 9/10 times the person with that license plate is driving a "pimped out ride" (e.g. dark tints, stop 'n go wheels, etc.).....which leads me to believe that instead of being for what DARE represents, they against it. If I didn't work for the government and right next door to the courthouse...I might have one myself! hahahahaha. JK.

Now I'll be easy to identify!
I ordered it two weeks ago, so hopefully it'll be here any day now...

I used to be in Philly a lot for work to try to get ideas until the guy that I used to correspond with at City Hall (and once a mentor of mine...) was recently indicted on corruption charges. Guess it's a good thing I didn't take any "wrong" ideas from that guy!!! I must have a poor judgement of character?

FYI: I am a law abiding citizen of PA; accept for speeding on the turnpike... And maybe that I frequent Starbuck's too much???

Wow, Dubois...I never thought I would see that show up on this board. My wife is orginally from Reynoldsville and I'm from Clearfield.

Mary Beth at Bairel. I would also like to know if she's in sales. I dealt with some older fellow that gave me a quote of $500 over invoice on a leftover 2005 and $2000 over on an '06 in Feb. I was ready to buy on the spot if he would have come down to a $1000 under invoice on the '05. His response was "That doesn't happen in Acura world." I walked.

My dealership, Bobby Rahal Acura in Mechanicsburg (or as we refer to as the "west shore"), said pretty much the same thing. Although they reworked the numbers for me a few times, it was always on the trade. They didn't budge for what they were asking for the 2005 TL.

What's up with that?

Its the first thing I did when I got my WDP TL (D.A.R.E)...there was no way I was sticking the new PA plates on there...so ugly....
by the way my car isn't pimped at all...only exterior mod is I debagged the 3.2 it looked to cluttered...alot better now

It is kind of ironic having that plate...hint hint

Sales. I'm pretty sure she's still there. I haven't talked to her in about 9 months. I'm 2 hours from Pittsburgh so I only go down for major services.

Who's your wife? I might know her, its a small world up here! Mary Beth is in Sales. She'll treat you right.....very nice and upfront, no B.S.! Tell her that Bill Drahushak sent you. Probably not worth much but I bought one of the first CL-S off her in March 2000.

clausda0-

I bought off the lot in Novermber, so it came with the summer tires... they work really well in mild temps (remind me of motorcycle tires), but when the temp drops below 50, even on dry days, they are horrible until heated.

So I will use the stock rims and summer tires for summer, and bought a winter tire/wheel package for winter... this way too if I bang up the rims with pot holes or a slide on ice, I won't have to replace the stock rim, just a cheaper (but surprisingly sharp) aftermarket rim.

My wife's maiden name is Dworsky. We are both 30 but she has two older brothers, oldest went to Central. I know what you mean about it being a small world. It seems her dad knows everybody in the area.

I am going to head to Spitzer in the South Hill tonight, then I will have to give Bairel a call to see if Mary Beth is still around.

Thanks for the info on the summer tires!

Deutch - I can't rave enough about Spitzer south hills acura. Its a brand new facility. Really nice complex. There lot is convenient, and everyone that works there is genuine. I worked with Rob White, he's a really good guy. I also got help from another sales manager named Christian.

Since my car is still in the delivery process, and the dealer could still throw in a freebie, if you feel like asking for Rob White, and Telling him Kristian Claus sent you, I would be foreverly grateful!

I also went to Baeirl Acura, I worked with George and Ken. They didn't seem interested in my business. They accomodated me, but didn't act like they cared about me as a customer. There dealership is also really cramped, and to me, uncomfortable.

Go to spitzer, ask for rob, tell him kristian sent ya!

and try test driving both the manual and the automatic. Once I test drove the manual, i was Hooked!

Clausda0 - I'm glad to hear some good things about Spitzer. I will certainly ask for Rob and tell them you sent me. Hopefully I can get a fair deal. There just wasn't anything that impressed me about Bairel. Like you said, they just seem uninterested.

Oh, I'm manual all the way! The automatic isn't even a consideration!

We should definitely do that this summer!!

I work with a guy who has a car club and he could probably give me some tips on where to meet, etc. Although, he couldn't come becuase he drives an IS...

Harrisburg is a great place; just don't trying drinking and jumping from rooftops or hanging yourself out any high rise buildings.

HBG is definetly a fun place to go out, 2nd street gets pretty busy on the weekends , and yes as long as you don't go jumping roofs afterwards like some dumb people have been doping lately

I to went to boddy rahal on my first visit and then went to Jones acura in Lancaster and they gave me $1000 more for my trade in and $500 less on the car. Needless to say, i was quite happy I went there

Harrisburg meet sounds good to me. I'd like to see a ron-jon kit on a TL in person, heopfully sdomeone around here has one

I'm in McCandless.. North Hills area. Fox Chapel guys eh, I use to be an officer down in Etna. I recall responding to Fox Chapel Highschool years ago for a serious crowd during a basketball game I believe.

I'm up for a meet anytime here. Anyone interested in organizing it or should we take a vote
