Have two quick questions for the folks out there with 1) Auto Transmission and 2) A-Spec Body.
Auto Transmission - When I am sitting in slow, stop and go traffic, whenever I ease onto the gas and/or ease onto the breaks I hear a noise. It sounds like a small marble or BB moving back and forth somewhere beneath the shifter. Anyone ever hear this noise? Is there something in the mechanism itself that would cause a noise like this? It is a very slight noise that I can only hear when the radio is off. Now, before anyone asks.......I'm sure it is coming from the shifter and isn't something in the center consol moving around.
A-Spec Body - If you follow the gap between your front door and your rear from the roof line down to the ground, is the gap the same width on the driver and passenger side? Naturally the gap between doors is the same, but when my eye reaches the seam between body panels for the A-Spec side skirts, the gap is larger on the passenger side than on the drivers side. Not a huge gap, about a finger width, but enough to drive me crazy. Everything else is lining up perfectly.

Update.........just measured the gap on both sides and they are identical. Sorry bout that, must have been some serious pre-dawn/pre-coffee mind tricks going on this AM.
I do still have the other issue though.

I used to have that problem becuase a dime slipped under my shifter. Everytime i moved i heard this coin move. Problem went away iteself. Must have gotten stuck somewhere. Just hope its not in a place to do any harm. This was about 1 year ago and i have had no problems since.

My 06 had that BB rolling around sound from the day I bought it. It was not around the center console but was coming from around the drivers arm rest. When I took it to the dealer they found an unidentified screw rolling around in the armrest area. Don't know where it came from but the sound went away when they removed it. Could be a similar situation with yours.
