TL and NSX

Does anyone know what the differences are between the NSX and the TL seats - ass indentions don't count

I was on the Acura site today and came across a few pictures of the NSX seats, more specifically the seat options the NSX has. They really do look similar to the TL's. I was just wondering how different or indiffrent they really are - not that it matters, just wondering and scratching head over it.

And who knows, maybe some day I invision my TL as a sports car just by the way the seat look and feel j/k

The seats are in fact QUITE different. the NSX seats are much 'deeper' and cradle you much more. The TSX seats are probably second to the NSX, IMHO, in cradling the driver. Then the RSX, and the TL seems to be more of a luxury feel, as opposed to a sporty feel.

The NSX seat is very similar to a Recaro racing seat. The side bolsters are huge, and almost 90 degrees to the seatback. The TL's side bolsters are more like 45 degrees, and not nearly as deep.

Very good description of them.
While I do like the TL seats, the ones in my NSX certainly hold you in place a lot better. Especially if you are in spirited driving mode.
I not a very big framed person so I fit very well in the NSX seats. Right in the sweet spot.

The only real similarity is the shape of the bolsters on the upper part (shoulder). Beyond that, they are very different. The NSX seats have much higher bolsters, particularly on the bottom section, and are much stiffer. They are also of a much higher quality leather given how they have held up on my 93 NSX versus my 2004 TL.

Indeed, but would you say the characteristics of the seats are similar. Meaning they appear to look the same. Maybe it’s a type of branding -- the Acura way. I have not seen very many luxury car seats on the market that are wide in the shoulders that conform as the Acura does, and still have that ruse of a sporty appeal.

Noted they are different.

check the avatar for 'NSXNEXT'-it's an NSX seat. You'll see the differences pretty quickly. But I do agree there is a similarity of design for all the Acura seats.
