TL and NSX . . .

Since I see evidence of a few fellow NSXers on this site, I thought I would start a thread and find out how many other folks are lucky enough to have a 3rd Gen. TL and an NSX.

Also, let me know if you are on NSXPRIME.COM and your username on that site if it is different than on this site. Mine is the same on both sites.

Sold my NSX this summer, but kept the S2000. The S2000 is a better sports car IMHO. I have forgot my NSXPRIME name, but that is a great site for NSX owners. When I got the TL, I knew I had to get the 6-spd because Honda has already conditioned me with the s2k. I am their Pavlov's dog - they dangled the 6-spd high revin' TL in front of me and I drooled.

Yes, the 6MT was what sold me on the TL as well.

I thought about getting an S2k when I bought the NSX.

I disagree with your assessment of the merits of the two cars, but we are largely in the realm of the subjective, so you can't really go wrong with either one.

The NSX is faster, more exclusive, a better track car, etc. I love the sound of that motor screaming to 8000 RPM. Nothing like a downshift to 2nd at 60 MPH.

The S2k is a convertible, cheaper to run, probably a better autoX car, etc. You put an intake on that car and it sounds very mean.

I don't think I'll ever buy an S2k, but I hear the 04s are much improved and I'll have to take one for a spin, when the snow clears.

Part of my reason for that opinion is that I had a 1991 NSX with the 3.0 L 270 HP engine, and I had owned it for 11 years. But mostly, it's because the S2000 pivots around bends like it virtually has no mass.

Not to be a d!ck or anything, but this thread is to find out who owns an NSX and a 3rd Gen TL, not to debate the merits of the NSX and the S2k, which has been done many times before on NSX and S2k forums, or discuss the HSC/2nd Gen. NSX, for which an entire sub-forum exists on nsxprime.

So, anybody out there?
