TL interior question

As you all know im comparing the tl and altimas....but I have a question...Yall keep saying the tl interior is nicer and soo on but....when i read in here all i hear about is how crappy the tl leather is...how it cracks and look shitty anfter a short period of time.. and how the car has constant rattles....Ive looked up nissan and have found nothing but good things about the leather and how the car holds up rattle wise..let me know

2004 TL w/ 30K miles:

No rattles
No foreign sounds
No noise complaints

Relative to the leather, every car I've ever owned (Saab, Acura, Mitsi, Audi, Porsche) will have the leather "wrinkle" but not "crack". My TL driver's seat has "wrinkles" where the leather is showing use but it's not a defect in the seat. Look at a baseball glove or a leather belt for comparative purposes. When you first buy either, the leather is smooth with no wrinkles. After several uses, the leather begins to "wrinkle" which some people might interpret as "cracking".

06 TL

Rattle, just when I thought I fixed one rattle, another one pops up.

Leather sucks big time.

They improved the leather for the '07 model, which is the one I have. As for rattles, only one so far (steering column), but I didn't hear it when I drove a couple of days ago.

Same here on my Ebony/black interior. Several very minor wrinkles only on the seat bolsters, too; the seat surfaces are pristine.

Black Tl with black interior. No rattles, leather still smells new but I admit it does suck especially the seats in the back leaves ugly butt prints.

I detail cars and 3 of my regular customers have 05/06 Altimas and when you start looking at them close the quality is way off in most the interior areas.

bmehling as I told you in the PM, there are thousands of threads on everything you could ever want.

Goto problems and fixes and do a search on rattles, Ill bet there are plenty...

Im not going to allow another rattle thread here on the main page.
