TL Interior finishing

The roof and pillars on the new TL are covered with cloth instead of vinyl. It can easily get dirty of 'bubbled' and become separated from the metal surface underneath.

Does anyone see this as a major problem?

Also, what is the resoultion of the GPS NAVI system?

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

1) No, nothing a little Aerospace 303 can't handle if needed.

2) What resolution are you speaking of?

He's asking what resolution the Navi screen runs at. Is it 324x178 etc.. good question maybe the guy who turned his into a TV can answer that.

Exactly. Lets see. We've had people complain about the fabric lined wheel wells, the fabric covered interior pillars, the acoustic (plastic sandwiched between two layers of glass) windshield, the DVD audio, etc.

Maybe you should have bought an Accord. :o

I personally like 99% of the luxury touches on the TL and that is why I am going to buy one. To the creator of this post, if the fabric on your pillars is coming undone (there is NO reason why this should be happening on a new car), get the dealership to fix it under warranty. It's there for a reason....to absorb cabin noise and for asthetics as it matches the headliner material.

No, I am not complaining. I am just concern that the fabric will become loose and separated from the surface it is suppose to bind to years down the road when warranty has expired. Should this happens, is it something that is easy to fix?

By NAVI resolution, I am referring to the 'pin-point' accuracy of the NAVI system. Is it good to 50 feet, 100 feet, or 300 feet, etc.
