Question TL Hybrid?

I'm wondering if Acura is planning to introduce a hybrid?
Lexus has come on board as has Toyota. My next car will
be a hybrid and I'd sure like to buy another TL.

Don't think it's going to happen any time soon. Acura doesn't have any hybrid models/option. Only Honda.

And with Honda discontinuing the Accord Hybrid, it doesn't look promising. Honda will be offering a 2009 Accord Diesel.

It seems to me that performance & gas-efficiency don't really go hand in hand ... LOL

I guess that's a trade-off we all have to live with ... I drive my wife's RXH when my green conscience is calling ...

Seems like diesels get better "all-around" fuel economy than hybrids. A friend of mine has a couple diesel VW's in his family as well as a diesel Ford E-350 van that he uses for towing his boat. He swears by diesel. I may look at the Honda diesel when I'm due for another car. I guess it all depends on gas prices. If gas goes to and stays in the $4 area in Chicago that is when I start looking for an economy minded car.
