it depends on the situation. If you want RWD, some more power at the cost of fuel consumption... or better yet i'd throw myself into a 550i.

I work for Nissan; and i think they are crap...specially the new models built and assembled in Mexico. The 06-07 Z's and G's had a Oil consumption problem along with gear box problems. I'm probably just being selectively biased...lol
(not one tech in the shop owns a Nissan - one dude with a 01 anniversary Max)<<still made in Jap

Unique...wonderful, that means that hack Castro threw rims on it and spray painted the leather interrior. The thing probably went down in value...lol

But yeah, maybe I'm just bitter...lol

He is such a piece of shit. He is the WORST at what he does. Anyone can hire 20 people and have them put rims on and then add a sound system.

No wonder why they are out of business.

Word is that he is moving his "business" to FL

not to defend this kid (sounds like a douche), some kids actually do work hard and earn a really nice car. I know a kid, he's 17-18 now, been working his ass off and has been pinching pennies since he was a kid. He drives a 40+K car to school. The only thing his parents paid for were the all-season floor mats, plus they got suckered into the Perma Plate detailing package even though he told them not to get it...

Hes actually pretty cool. But the thing is, that was his first car. I know he works like crazy monday thru friday afterschool, but I KNOW he doesn't make enough to pay for the insurance and the car(atleast 1200 a month). I guess i could just be jealous I didn't drive a $110k car as my first car

Doesn't really bother me, if I have that kind of cash when my son starts driving I would probably do the same, why not.

I look at it like this, as long as my kid stayed in school and got good grades I see not issues getting them a nice care. So what if it is a M5, or something like that. It is all about buying within your budget and everyones is different.

That's understandable. I believe in working for what you have, not just getting it for free. What I find amazing is that this kid only financed like 10K (parents pay, he pays his parents for lower rates) and his insurance is less than 150 a month

My first car was a M3 at 17. I was def. not spoiled (well I hope not) I worked two jobs, maintained a 4.5 GPA in school, helped shelters/poor/hurricane victims (Red Cross, Star Of Hope, etc.. at least 40 hours a month) played Basketball and Football in HS and helped my grandparents on the weekends sometimes along with helping with my struggling cousins. M3 was a gift from my Uncle btw, he has some money and he saw me as a hardworker and at that time I LOVED that car and so he ended up giving me his. Ended up driving for 2 years and said I didn't want to drive something that expensive at such a young age so I gave it back to my Uncle and used all the money I worked for to buy my 06 TL. <3 it To bad insurance cost me almost 400$ a month for 3 cars (I have to pay half)

If it's non type S, i would trade it (if you have no kids) but if its type s, keep it!

My dad drives the G37 and it's has its cons and pros. (I drive 07 TL-S).

G37 has a better handling (less stiff) and more power so if i barely tap on the

gas it accelerates with that sexy exhaust sound (i guess TL can have it after removing the resonator and such)

but i still prefer my TL because its wayyyyy roomy i mean wayyyy haha

and also TL has a way better interior and program layouts and easier controls.

and i still think exterior of TL is way sexier than G37.

Only thing i envy is more power ( more fuel cost) and ......

the KEYLESS ENTRY.

OMG Why couldn't 07s and 08s have a freaking KEYLESS ENTRY!!!???

Makes me so #%#!%!# GrAWRRR haha.

Oops, got carried away. Anyways yeah, i guess it really depends. If you have

no kids you can have fun driving the G, but i still prefer TL overall.

That's different though, you're clearly a good person! And those who work for what they have and deserve it are not what I'm talking about at all.

Back to my original first comment, alot (not all) of the G37 (and 35) drivers I see lately, on LI, are the wanna be, growing up Gotti, guidos, who are just in general major douche bags, so in my mind, I automatically associate the car with them. It's one of those Pavlovian things. That's all I was trying to say. Sorry for starting this big discussion and taking this thread WAYYY off topic.

G37? Probably not. G35, maybe. I just don't particularly like the way they changed the styling - looks too rounded now, almost girly.
