Question TL floor mats

So I just got a 05 TL a few weeks ago and love it, but it came with no floor mats. Does anyone know where to find floor mats with the acura symbol or TL?

Thanks

Go to the stealership and purchase a set?

Sometimes, members post these up in the Black Market as well.

You may want to check some weather tech floor mats. There are ones that are specific to 3g TLs. A bit costly but it will protect your carpet better than the OEM ones. Search the forums for 'weather tech' and I'm sure you will find it.

I bought my TL with crappy 3rd party floormats that don't fit right (way too small in the back row, and too big in the driver's footwell).

Now I'm trying to decide between buying Acura all-weather or regular (stock) floormats. I prefer the look and feel of the carpet mats, but I ski, camp, and go to the beach, so mud/snow/sand is frequently getting tracked into the car.

Any opinions from people who have used both?

go with weathertechs. they look really nice, and are durable and quality.

i'd choose these over carpeted floor mats anyday, and the weathertechs fit perfectly. made for the TL.

Thanks Sharksbreath. Do you have the regular weathertech mats ($100), or the "digital floorliner" ($180)?

LasVegas, PM sent regarding price.

i went with the regular, the digitals are the ones that have the full across the back coverings, right?

if so, i didn't see the point in spending the extra $ on that, i rarely have anyone in the back seats.

you'll also want a trunk tray if you don't already have one, i found one in the black market here on azine. oem TL trunk tray for $40. shop around, you'll find one.

Yeah, the "digital" one covers the entire back floor. People ride in the back pretty frequently in my car, but I don't think they're dumb enough to put muddy shoes up in the middle carpeted section when there's a perfectly good floormat in front of them.
I'll probably end up going with the regular weathertechs once I get around to making a purchase.

Thanks for the input.

This is an awesome, funny, and probably 100% incorrect statement...but we shall see

If you want to have the emblem then you need OEM, and I would recommend the all-seasons. I have both and will only use the rubber ones. If I was going to invest in the non-digital versions I myself have and would again by the OEM ones...otherwise throw down the cash for the digitals, especially in the fronts. I dont believe anyone is smart enough to keep their feet flat and on the ground in front of them at all times, but, since I drive with people 1% of the time I dont really care if the hump is protected.

Whatever you decided, do what works for you. I like the "TL" on the mats and dont like the fact that the digital cuts ones cover the dead pedal, so I went OEM.

Here's an alternative to the WeatherTechs:

http://www.autoanything.com/floor-ma...icleModelID=10

$82 for a set. Notes: the rubber give the interior a weird smell for the first four or five months. They work as advertised and the dimples do a good job of containing dirt/water/etc. so it doesn't spread. They clean up easily with a pressure wash and I have no complaints.

That said, I would get WeatherTechs if I was doing it all over again, not based on any product comparison or quality difference, but solely for the WT's stance on material use and manufacturing here in the USA. I'd pay the extra money to support WT, having learned more about them since I bought the Lloyd's.

Plus 1000 on the Weathertech digital, I have them in both my wife's vehicle and my Type S. This is one of the best investments you can make!

Thank you for all the feedback! Weathertech seems to be the right choice! I like the carpet mats, but I am agreeing with all of you on how easy it would be to clean.

Thanks again for your opinions!

For my cars I use the OEM floor mats. Its good enough. My advice would be buying them at the dealership, I guess. WeatherTech is good too from what I heard...

+1, WeatherTech is good, but my own personal preference is still OEM! That's why I still went with OEM All Season mats.

I bought office chair clear hard floor mat for $20 from Costco and dremeled it to custom fit my front driver side, it looks pretty good and thick and heavy enough to prevent sliding. I wish I could take picture for you guys but my car is at some impound yard right now, gotta have it towed home tomorrow

Check out the bm thread. I purchased a used set of All-weather TL mats from another member here. I do have my OEM 04-08 TL mats for sale. https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/fs-04-08-tl-front-reat-carpet-mats-wtt-something-786801/
