135 mph? i think at that much speed, one person or the other is bound to slow down. but then again, who takes a race up to 135 mph? thats scary

The STI is tough. Ive smoked a couple WRX's from rolling starts. I haven't been foolish enough to try them form 0.

STi's are just plain fast. They're very torquey and I just don't see the TL taking one on at any speed.

STI can take a M3 or C32 or S4 on any given day

beating them out in straight, corners and everything, except the ride...it's a bit harshy

let the competition compete within the league. STI is for EVO8, not a sport sedan like TL, or coupe like CL-s. My brother's wrx with few mods will kick my ass over and over.....from stop n go of course

STI is a monster. I think m3 and modded 350z might be a good race.

C&D has ripped times of 5.1s 0-60 in the STi.
I've seen a couple do 4.7s. Still....
If I wanted a light small car with a cheap interior (ok-I have my Nomex on - flame away) that's as fast as hell, I would have bought the Sti. I want a more overall package however, and the TL fits the bill very nicely. Let the boy racers have their Sti's, WRXs and Evos. There's more to life then 0-60 and .25 miles.

At suck high speed, it might be possible to SLOWLY pull from the STI(assuming you started off even). STi is not all that aerodynamic... lots of drag at that rate of speed.
