I walked away from a 745 with some big chrome 22" from 100-142mph yesterday. Walked a good 6-7 cars. We passed a turbo porsche when I hit about 115mph. I slowed down to about 110 to let the 745 catch up to give him a thumbs up. Then out of no where I see some bright hid in my rear view catching up real fast and the porsche flys by both of us going at least 140+mph and was long gone. Then the 745 wants to go again taking off. At this point I was thinking if I should waste more gas (had about 1/4 tank left). Hes about 2 cars ahead. So I was like why not and dropped it into 4rd at about 105mph and gun it (wont let me go into 3rd ) playing catch up and ended up passing him about a car or two at about 140 then I backed off cause the gas light came on because I still had about 20 more miles to go to my friends house. I have to say that 4th gear in vtec doesnt play. You can feel it pull you back a little when you hit 4800rpm and it pulls hard. I hit 155mph before with just a intake but now with all my mods it gets there really quick . I was with my girl and brother. My brother was amazed on how quick I got to 140mph. Oh I was on Turnpike and it was pretty empty also.

Gas consumption in upper band amazes me daily. I saw somewhere the cheapest 6 series, you shoul be able to hang on or beat.

You want to put NOS on your car but not a CAI??? That makes no sense. You will have no problems with a CAI especially Comptech Icebox, unless you go through 2 feet of water a lot. Your chances of NOS doing somehting to your engine is much, much higher than any CAI

True NOS will give you more but it can also give you (thats the best I could find for explosion) and a jacked up tranny more than they already are. CAI is a safe mod, thats all I'm getting at.
