TL to IS 250?

A few years ago when I worked at a Lexus dealer, we got $400 towards a lease of our choice from lexus. Pretty sweet, I had several GSs personal favorite was the 06 GS430. Smooth as silk. I thought it was fast until a colbalt ss with stickers everywhere pulled up next to me on the highway. You know the car...I laughed at his car and stomped on the gas... except it seemed like I stomped on the brakes....... funniest thing that happened to me in a while. My lease was up shortly so I got an ISF instead. In the mid-west the ISF is more of a second car because of the snow and ice. If you say snow in the car, it goes into a death spin. Super fun car and looks good, but for 65k you can get more hp elsewhere but you have to drive the same car as a ton of other guys..

Considering carbon build up 2011+ could end up being cheaper option at the end and more enjoyable at the same time.
I've had only good experience with all Lexus' that I owed.

I've loved the way this generation looked since it came out, more pics !
So the 250 is out. Not happening. It just felt sluggish, and I couldn't get used to it. The 350 on the other hand has a chance, more power than the TL, I like the AWD/RWD aspect of the IS, and I actually really liked the steering feel. It is very cramped, but I didn't notice it all that much when I was in the drivers seat, but when the drivers seat was in a comfortable position for me, the rear seat was useless. Trunk space didn't seem to bad either, and I loved the gauge cluster and Nav unit.

2001 IS300 does not come with a MT, not until 2002 you can get a MT. I drove a 05 Sport design with MT and can't tell the difference at all. W55 suck anyway when come to boosting the A650E actually can take more power than the MT counter part, beside when boost the AT doesn't loose much boost from shifting.
sadly the interior is a result of spending 10 years here in TX with no windshield sun shade and yet the seat still looks better than my TL (which always has sun shade). She has 180k miles as we speak
The AT has VERY steep gear ratio which I kinda enjoy. here is a video of both MT and AT 0-100 mph.
